Hi, this is my online portfolio and blog. I am a UI/UX Designer based in London, England. As a professional web developer, I have designed and hand coded many web sites using best practice valid CSS2-3/XHTML following W3C guidelines for web standards, accessibility and usability resulting in lean accessible websites that work cross browsers (IE6-9, Firefox, Opera, Safari and Chrome) and are also great for search engines.

Front End Web Development: Excellent working knowledge of XHTML, CSS (up to date with the latest HTML5 and CSS3), jQuery framework. Good understanding and experience with Agile Development Methodology, SCRUM framework, design, development, integration and testing.

Back End Web Development: ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC 2/3 and PHP, including several CMS and WordPress framework.

Software: Microsoft Visual Studio 2005-2010, Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS), Microsoft SQL Server 2008, SSRS, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe Fireworks, Notepad++, Firebug.

Current Employment (October 2008 – Present): Zircadian (an Allocate software company), UK supplier of doctor management software to NHS trusts.

• - Working in an Agile Environment, presenting at daily scrums and working closely with the development team.
• - Understanding the software specs and requirements and creating mockups, development plan, and implementing the same.
• - Creating visual mockups to enhance specs and software requirements, translating the user and product owner needs, and liaison with developers and testers on the aspects of implementation.
• - Work on new software modules, creating mockups and wireframes as images and as ASP.NET MVC, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• - Working within different teams on different modules.
• - Manipulating, updating and uploading images for use on Zircadian software modules.
• - Customize SQL Server Reporting Services Report.
