The New Shape of London
The Minerva Building - London EC3
The proposed 50-storey Minerva Building in the City of London will provide over 1m sq ft of space, accommodating up to 10,000 people. The building has been designed by leading British architect, Grimshaw, designers of the Eden Project. Its design is described by the architect as four 'open books' standing with their spines erect facing one another.The building, which has been granted planning permission, would be the first building in the City of London to contain more than 1m sq ft of office space. It would contain four trading floors, as well as significant retail and restaurant space.
